Bigger question is how some schools in Sumner County will be affected by JJ being back in Sumner County at a PRIVATE? <_<

REALLY good Coach being back where 'funds' should not be a problem.

Bad time of year to be hiring for Cookeville though, but I will bet a BUNCH of good Coaches will apply. Good situation for a Coach there.

Maynord was very effective as a coordinator while at Riverdale many yrs ago. What is his record like at Smith County? I think I recall him being the principal at SC, so wouldn't this be a big pay cut?

It is sad to see Jerry leave 6A. I have watched many games that he has coached in over the years. he is a hard worker and a good man who runs a clean program. Good luck to him in his new venture. I am not familiar with who JPII plays, would he play Marty at MBA or Ferg at FRA? If so, I will be in attendance.
