The game doesn't end until the buzzer sounds. Altough the clock showed 0.0 there is a tenth of a second from 0.09 to 0.00. The referee would be watching the shooter and listening for the buzzer. The play is so close and probably .01-.05 off and the official did the best he could. In his judgement, she got it off before the buzzer, case closed. I have watched the video 25 times trying to hear the buzzer and can't so we don't know 100% if he is right or not.

Teams can't be charged with a technical fould due to cheerleaders.. I call bs

You are absolutely correct. I am sure this was a decision due to the expecations of a large 'paid' attendance. Also, the game administrator makes the call on whether the game is played or not up until the time the referees walk onto the field then it is their call I believe.

I have seen both teams play and Trousdale is the better football team....but that's why they play the game. Kind of seems like the Giants/Patriots Superbowl to me. TC better not overlook Jo Byrns, they didn't make it The Boro because they don't know how to play football. They are a good team and could pull the upset if TC doesn't come ready to play.

Let all the kids play. There is no reason for a 6-9 year old kid to practice two and sometimes three days a week only to not play at all or 2 minutes of meaningless football. All kids practice and all kids play. I have seen many leagues in the middle TN area that handle things this way and is just makes to be a better league. Remember it is all about the kids....all of them.
