Was wondering who was leading in home runs this year. Not every one reports to max_preps so was curious.

 

Richland has 21 total in 30 games

 

Merri Anne Patterson has 9

Taylor Parker has 7

As of last week homerun leaders from the chattanooga area was at 8. Not sure about statewide. Competetion varies so much from class to class and area to area it's like comparing apples to oranges. I would say the more you drop in class the more offensive numbers you put up.

Is JpII playing the Chattanooga schools,Baylor and GPS, next week? They both have pretty good offenses also not sure of stats for both teams.

There are always exceptions. The point I was trying to make is, excluding tournaments, alot, not all, of your single A schools have very weak district and areas schedules which comes from the low numbers of girls at each school and the talent from that area spread out among so many different school. And when that rare big fish happens to show up in that little pond and jumps it makes an awfully big splash.

Kingston has 31 HR as a team. But, then again they have played the Commandos twice as well.

Umm, what about the most important factor in HR count????? Fence depth!!! I have seen 180ft to 235 ft!!!!

I honestly think Whitwell High plays on a 150 ft. fence.

After tonight Kingston has 36 as a team. As of last Wednesday, Harriman's Haylee Goins had 13. I have seen her hit some absolute bombs this season.
