TnBball
Hey Gomab, did you have a good turnout? Seems like the Clarksville boys' represented well. WindyCityHooper
Yes for my first time at the Showcase it was nice. It could have gone better it we could have got that hour lunch. Anyway I enjoyed it and got to play with some of the top players in the state. That senior from Father Ryan was nice. He couldn't be stoped. You should have one more and see who comes this time maybe even more people will come.
qwmike
Congratulations on the turnout Saturday. Those were very positive kids. There were many great things but the stand out things to me were the 3-point contest and dunk contest. The Father Ryan Kid is a pure shooter. I really liked the dunk contest there were two good dunkers Sampson and Quincy. my favorite would have to be quincy he has some rises. i never have seen him until Saturday what school does he go to? When he jumped to windmill he made me drop my big mac his style of jump was unatural and he jumps off two feet. His vertical has to be at least a ????. He can be nice if he works o his jumper. He is a good leaper and rebounder. There also were many great shooters.
gomab2
Thanks for the comments, guys...... TnBball......the Showcase was a MAJOR success....I can't wait to get all of the info in order so I can post on here...... H.Britton......thanks for attending, and I do hope it was a great experience for you..... As for Quincy.....he is quite an athlete....I just wish he'd spend as much time working on his shot as on his dunks: and he'd be a very good player..... mister02
The Clarksville guys made a good showing at the Shawcase. The stats will say so, but I was impressed the the players from Chat Howard. I must say that this team could possibly be one of the quickest end to end teams in the state. With SirLee Mason, Ricky Harper, Allen Ray and Rodney Henderson those guys will be hard to contain in the open court.
gomab2
I agree Mister02.......Chattanooga Howard is going to be SPECIAL this winter, especially if they can find any frontcourt play...... Both "C-Towns" definitely represented-Clarksville and Chattanooga.........
trenton
I know my boys from Columbia put on a show up there to I would to say that it was a clean sweep for the three C-town cities
WindyCityHooper
You dog I was triping when my boy quincy jumped up. He can do that all the time. He wasn't hype enough. I see him dunk all the time. He is a Antioch boy.

Irish40
I think (although i'm biased) that Father Ryan was represented as good or better than any other single school ath the showcase. Joe Thompson's performance in the last game of the morning session was sick. If you ducked out early to get a head start on the fast food, you definitly missed the best performance of the day. I've never seen Joe play that well, and i'm still wondering how he didn't pick up the MVP? Everett Bills showed out as well. The kid is bursting with athleticism..its scary to think he's only a few months past his 17th birthday. If he was as a junior, like everyone else his age, he would really be turning some heads. The two sophomores held their own too. Looks like the beat will go on for years at Ryan. It's too bad I (Brent Carney) struggled, but 4 out of 5 still aint bad. I hope Ryan is remembered when the debate about best teams/players in the midstate and state comes up. Once the real games start and we can play our "team" ball instead of the individual game played at these showcases we should be pretty good.
