Well, we have a "little" more of an idea where everyone kinda is, I guess . . .

Conference went 7-1

This week line-up is . . .

Dobyns-Bennett @ Clinton

Science Hill @ Elizabethton

Tennessee High @ Jefferson County

Daniel Boone vs. Cherokee

Volunteer vs. Sullivan East

David Crockett - off

Sullivan South - off

Well how about that Conference, huh? If Volunteer could have help a lead against Sullivan North it would have been a clean sweep. They must have needed a couple of guys for the fight in the parking lot though.

Dobyns-Bennett @ Clinton 56-0 Indians. It could be way worse

Science Hill @ Elizabethton 28-14 Toppers

Tennessee High @ Jefferson County 27-20 Patriots

Daniel Boone vs. Cherokee 35-31 Chiefs. This is a dandy.The Chiefs have a great QB in Ty Ryans...game of the week.

Volunteer vs. Sullivan East 14-12 Falcons....Dud of the week

David Crockett - off 1-0 and on top of the world...taking a break

Sullivan South - off 1-0 is better than last years start versus Enka. Way to go Rebels

Sullivan Central - off 1-0 is way better than 0-10 last year. Way to go Cougars.

I think we'll beat Betsy a little more than two touchdowns I'm hoping. I don't think they're better than Greenville.. But it's always a tough game played over there.

Science Hill 35 Betsy 13 (speed kills)

Jeff County 21 TN High 14 (what has happened in Bristol?)

Cherokee 28 Boone 20 (Give the Chiefs their props. They are a solid team)

Volunteer 21 East 20 (Falcons gave one away in zero week. They steal one here)

South defeats Idle

Crockett beats Off

Central routs Open

DB 63-9 over Clinton - Clark trying the build the faith among the natives

Science Hill 42-13 - I don't think SH will be challenged by anyone other than Morristown West this year, up through week 9 anyway

Jeff County 28-12 over TN High - Maybe a little closer if this was in the castle

Cherokee 21-20 over Boone - Wild guess, don't know much about Cherokee, but wasn't impressed with Boone's game last night

Volunteer 17-14 over East - "Improved" falcons over still struggling East program

 

When was the last time Central could say it was undefeated through Week 1...

      Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
