It would be best to jump right in there, if not, with home-and-away schedules made out they would have to have two jv seasons most likely.

Bingo. You are absolutely right. It SC doesn't start out immediately playing a varsity schedule then they would have to wait two full years to do so b/c of the scheduling issue you noted. That would be totally unfair to the juniors and seniors who are being pulled out of their current schools.

Or we can just wait a few years until Rockvale High School opens and then add them as the 8th team then

Are you sure that both expansion at Eagleville and a new Rockvale High are both going to happen? Will the school board zoning add some more of Riverdale into the Blackman zone since Stew Creek will take lots of that current population? (will give a small anount of relief to crowding at Lavergne and Smyrna as well) ? ?

I'm not certain, but thought I heard at one time that a Eagleville expansion and a Rockvale High were an either/or situation...that both would not happen together anytime soon. (?)

Once you hit I-24, Manchester is not all that far. You would think Coffee County would LOVE to be in 7aaa.

I would think that another Mboro school would happen befroe an expansion at Eagleville or Rockvale.

It is more likely a new high school will be built in the Whitworth-Buchanon area first (between Oakland and Riverdale), early zoning plan for Stewarts Creek has more students being pulled from Blackman and LaVergne, and about 350 students moving from Riverdale to Blackman. SC could likely end up being a 5-A classification in 7-AAA, Similar to the Sumner Cty district. It will make it somewhat easier for 7 AAA scheduling, IMO you could pull Wilson Central into 7-AAA to make 8 teams and the travel would not be very bad.

Then it would be like when we had Lebanon and WC in the region. Not much traveling to be had that way. At the most we traveled to Gallatin back in those days. Eight team district would be nice. As of now the district title is decided fairly quickly. Eight teams would help to loosen that up and make it to where the title isn't settled until the last couple of weeks. As long as everyone is competitive.
