mtnvol1
Good win for our Eagles. Looked like it was going to be a repeat of the first two games, but we started wearing down the Warrior defense. Bledsoe come out very strong. Their first drive was well executed as they drove down the field pretty much as they wanted to. I am not sure what happened to their offense after that. I didn't really see major adjustments on our part, but the defense did start picking up the intensity. It was good to see them hittin hard and not letting up. GO EAGLES!!! MountainTroll
Hats off to Coach Reel and my blue Warrior buddies. They played hard and gave it all they had for four quarters. Bledsoe just doesn't have much depth this year, and It's just tough to have your starters go both ways. After another rough start, my Eagles finally decided to bring the wood in the second half. I think much of our stuggles this season have been mental, with a lot of inexperience, a lack of confidence, and a lack of aggression. That changed tonight in the second half. Hopefully, this win will get the fellers on track.
eli
I cannot believe that ANYONE from Pikeville would have the nerve to complain about someone else's P.A. man....you guys have the worst P.A. guy in the state!

I'm not a fan either but will cut him a little slack as it was his first game. Although you would think he would have at least got the roster in advance and studied his own teams names. Not knowing how to pronounce the players names is a very rookie mistake, and he obviously has no concept of how to anounce a high school football game. Better than some we have had in the past and better than "back to back to back" , but there's got to be better out there.

Bledsoebtheboys
I know. Just couldn't pass up the opportunity. I would like it if they didn't even have announcers at ballgames...... The one in Dumlap kills me too..... I know he's been there for many many years but most of the time you can't understand what he says..... realmenwearred
The problem with the 67 is this, you score that many by leaving the first team in the whole game, the downside is you aren't giving your "future starters for next year" a chance to get game experience, that may be part Signals woes this year.... AMEN!
realmenwearred
AMEN! On the announcer, leave him doing what he is doing. Just turn off the speakers on the home side. We will still hear him.
