Still here. Still an Eagle's fan. Hate that the numbers are still down, and I really don't believe that busing is the main issue. Being good friends with some of the players' families and coach's family, I understand what he, Coach W, is having to go through. Kudos to the young men who are playing and faithful to the program. That being said, I believe that they have a great chance to get the first win under the belt. No score, just the win. GO EAGLES!

Good win for our Eagles. Looked like it was going to be a repeat of the first two games, but we started wearing down the Warrior defense. Bledsoe come out very strong. Their first drive was well executed as they drove down the field pretty much as they wanted to. I am not sure what happened to their offense after that. I didn't really see major adjustments on our part, but the defense did start picking up the intensity. It was good to see them hittin hard and not letting up. GO EAGLES!!!

Nope, still finished at .500. Good job Eagles!! Congrats to Sequatchie for a great game. I had about forgotten about stadium and facilities. We are working on ours to eventually get something close to that.

Question: How would a team, Notre Dame, (and I assume the only Notre Dame is from Chattanooga), who has not won a game in their district recieve a playoff bid? Now I know there are wildcards invited, but if the qualifications, at least one of, must be winning 50% of your games, how would they qualify? Would not Signal Mountain qualify, assuming they beat Sequatchie in two weeks, since they would have won out and finished 2-2, 2-0 in district? SM and ND are the only 4A teams in the district. Just throwing this out there and trying to figure it out. Yes I am a Signal Mountain fan, but that has no bearing on this question. Just looked at ND's record. Is the record concern looking at overall or district?

It could have been better if the yellow team would have stayed off the field a little more. Both teams had great plays throughout the game. I think EH will be a hard team to handle once they get a few games under their belt. The youth hurt them in spots, but they should learn from that. Good luck Canes. Go Eagles!!!!!!!

Awesome win! Can't say enough about the boys. They had a great year. 14-0, with a state championship, in only 2 years is hard to beat. Kudos to the coaches for turning our offense around in the 2nd quarter. While Zack and Donnie both had great games, don't forget Relle. He played a great game, also. Glad to see the support from the mountain, we have had all year , drive up and cheer.

Congrats to SP! Wish we were there to see and support ya'll. Will be there on Saturday to see our EAGLES win another state title for our district. GO EAGLES!

BTW, who is the home team and why? I think I know, but, just wanting to clear it up here on my end.

Sitting in tight stands where your knees are pretty much in the back of the person in front of you and having kids, and adults, going in and out every 2 minutes. Get your crap and sit down. An announcer who thinks he is calling for ESPN, and really needing lessons. Adults who think they are BAD, calling/taunting young kids to come back onto the field. Daring them to come back and cussing and flipping them off. Who really is the adult here?? Fans who leave the game early, whether their team is winning and losing (especially losing) way before the end of the game. If you are there to support your team at kick-off, why can't you support them at the final buzzer?? Driving almost 2 hours to bring the Gold Ball back home.

Ready for another roadtrip to north of 40. Good luck to both teams, but, GO EAGLES!!!!!!!

Well, this was one game that will be talked about for a long time. Great job to both teams. I had always heard about TC's running game, now I know for sure. I was glad our defense played the run better, and also had chances to really stop some drives. Congrats to our kids and good luck next week. I hope we will eventually work our stadium up to the atmosphere that was there tonight, not to say ours is bad. Great crowd, great game. Hate that the activity after the game happened, but there is always a few like that. Go Eagles!

Has anyone heard where the SM/CCS game is going to be held? CCS is home team, but where do they play home games?

This was a game I should have missed work for. We got to listen to the online streaming for most of it, but not same. Congrats to my hometown Eagles for a great win. Anytime you go to a place like SP and win, you should be proud. But like someone said earlier, don't get the swolled head from it. Enjoy it, celebrate it, and then get back to work. Now as for the troll trying to stir up the SP fans, that game could have gone either way, but we had the ball last, which was how this game was predicted here at work. Excuses could have gone either way. Yes, we Eagle fans may stir up a little here and there, but we won, so grow up! And you wonder why people keep paintin bullseyes on SM backs????

I thought that Seq. Co played very tough in the first half. Their running game is very good. They made several mistakes that hurt them in crucial drives. They are better than their record shows. We played a better second half, capitalizing on Seq. mistakes and scoring often. I know we can't come out slow next week. We will have to play a complete 60 minute game or it will be a long ride back.
