Yeah, that happens. Covington will lose a lot of talent after this season. The good thing is that if CC has lots of seniors, then they will probably improve rapidly as this season goes along. Good luck to you.

Yea hopefully we will get it together. I think and continue to say Covington will have a great year. That game last year we had was awesome so much speed in that game. GL to yall

Dhs are your Crusaders off this week? Offer from a few months ago still stands. I'm going to see a game in Knoxville this Friday with a defending state champ involved and a great little hole in the wall Italian place for the pregame meal.

JCM wins 42-25

 

JCM D holds them to 7 points in second half.

JCM speed was unmatched in this one on offense. Congrats to Cougars on the upset.

I will give it to JCM they capitalized on the fumbles but the D wasnt that good either CC fumbled 4 times going in on there 20 yard line. You wont win a game that way. But I will say JCM did what it had to do to win and got alot of bad plays from CC. Congrats on the win.

I dont care how many fumbles we had inside the 20.... If we don't fix our defense it's goin to be a long year!

True we dont tackle at all. 2 straight weeks of close to 500 total yards each game given up. Plus adamsville had over 300 i think. It could be a long year but i still believe in them.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
