First off,Igot to meet Butchie,Ihate he had so much trouble to make the game. He's just a great person and was honored to meet him. Hate that Reaction didn't get to make but Ithink he got to see a dandy.

 

As far as the Hampton game,pay the scoreboard no attention. This game was totally dominated by the Bulldogs. NG had 3 plays all of whitch were tds in the 1st half. Hampton hurt themselves with some costly turnovers,but this game wasn't really a match.Hampton took it up and down the field all night.

Should have scored 3 more times,of course one was at the end of the game and Hampton just let the clock run out.You was closer than you thought.

They do have 3 or 4 good skill players.Once you see the boxscore,you'll know what I'm talking about.Weird game to say the least.

I believe it. Their two scores on us were on two big plays never drove the ball or had any offensive movement. Was shocked when heard the score at the half, but me and my brother both said it won't be that way long haha Hampton ain't gonna let them get this one.

I took my smallest to J City for his birthday and didn't get back as soon as Id hoped....Could not believe when I heard the 1st half score...Glad they stepped it up in the 2nd and laid it on them...Heard the crowd was kinda dead, may need to pick up the 'vocal' support a bit....I wont miss another...Heard the field looked good tho

the field did look good, the def came intt he game without a worry in the world. 3 ridiculous mistakes on our part and ( that quick little kid they had lol) really put us in a bind. After the halftime chewing they came alive. On anther note, for the past couple yrs ive been pretty disappointed in our crowd, seems like ppl just come to socialize and not support our DAWGS, it really gets under my skin. Ive never understood how u can have a stand full of ppl and maybe 2 cheering for them. What happened to the milk jugs with rocks in them, the good ol HAMPTON BULLDOG SUPPORTERS??????? Something has to change, dont waste there 5 dollars if they aint goin to HOLLAR lol

Had alot of help show up to work on the field this week (about as many as was there last week)....As for the crowd, they will follow suit if a few will step up (cheerleaders, who ever) and bring some of those ole noise makers...Last few years, a bunch of us spread out through the stands and our hollering seemed to be contagious LOL

Pheeew...It's Been A Long Weekend...Just Few Lines To Show My Appreciation Of The Fans Of Hampton And The Roan Mountain Crowd..I Arrived In Roan Mountain And Was Greeted By None Other Than The King Himself!...And The Mayor Of Roan Mountain!...I Was Shown The State Park And It's Awesome Amenities....They Even threw A Parade For Me!....The Mayor Even Escorted Me In The Parade Driving None Other Than A Suburu!...Must Be A Mileage Thing?...I Met So Many Good People...Awesome, Down Home Folks...The Hampton Administrator Even Let Ole Butchie Out On The Field...Awesome Game...Things Looked Bleak For The Bulldogs With 3 Busted Coverages...But!...In Steps The Coach At Halftime!....And Apparently There Was A Communication Problem In The First Half...But Ole Coach Got That Fixed Quick Fast And In A Hurry!...I Have No Idea What He Told Those Young Men In That Locker Room But They Was A Different Team The Second Half!...I'd Like A Copy Of That Lil Speech, I Think I'd Get Rich Selling It On Ebay!..Sorta Of A Motivational Man He Is!...The Mountain Air..Cool Streams And Beautiful Women Has Ole Butchie Wishing I'd Never Left...Thanks Pujo, King And The Mayor And Others Who Made My Visit Awesome...Go Hampton!
