You are that deep when you try that trick.................pitiful!!!! Maybe we can subtract the mascot so you can stay down...............only if it ll get you JUST UNDER!!!

All the kids were counted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was just a question , Good night! I am a fan, not a coach, Admin, I do not draw a check from the county. But by God I am that pitiful, and just low enough to try anything to keep us 4A, if I were in charge but I am not. Why would I want to go from being the largest 4A school to the smallest 5A school? Other then the $$$$$ bump. Nobody in the state would want to....... But in the end we will go to 5A and that's fine. Just remember seamer it was a question not like we were going to do itcool.png Go Owls! Edited by chattacane

Where does the $$$$$ bump come from. We played the largest school in the state at home this year and they brought the least amount of fans that any opposing team has ever brought. The large teams don't seem to travel well. The smaller schools seem to support their teams better on the road.

If we move up we will play the likes of Ooltewah, Bradley, Cleveland, Rhea, Soddy, Walker Valley, and McMinn. coming from Ooltewah a few years back they draw better then. East Ridge, Tyner, Brainerd, Howard and Hixson those schools do not travel at all. Red Bank is OK, but just OK. that's the bump.

Some of those schools will travel well locally at times, and when they do, you are missing some of the $$$$$$$ because you want run the gate til the end of the 3rd quarter....I am just saying!

I m surprised you had enough to move up to 5A seeing that several of them didnt even come to school and that had to take the special test to pass...............that would keep you in 4A for sure!!icon_mrgreen.gif

Heck if I had my way I take out the band, cheerleaders, chess club, to get us to 3A! No wait that would put us with Alcoa, put the chess club back in, stay at 4A. Edited by chattacane

      Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
