Trust us mTp folks to know that having one good football player giving you a few winning seasons will tend to give one a big head and mouth.... lol!

 

Y'all have had your fair share of them the past decade. I played against Marco D. and Roderick W. (I'm not sure if that's how you spell his name)......

I remember '07, that was my son's freshman year. #1 would have been Jack Rabbit. He was fast, but no, he was no Marco. That being said, (and I know this is going to make a lot of mTp folks mad, but it's the truth), a couple of our players did get their hands on Marco. #1 was one of them. My son was the other; Marco slipped through his hands, literally, because his jersey was covered with hair gel. Don't believe it? Ask anyone who was at the game that year. My son came off the field with that stuff all over his hands. I'm not trying to put Marco down in any way, he was a great player, I'm just saying...perhaps someone could have caught him if they could have held onto him...

 

That's almost funny, but not quite..... Marco had an almost shaved head... No hair for gel.... His Jersey is hanging on the gymnasium wall if you want to test it, if you think they was soaking it down.... lol... proly just sweet and water from as much running he was doing, im sure he was soaked. My son is good friends with Marco, was on the team with him (sidelines), he just got a good laugh at your implications when I read it to him. He knows they didn't do that nor that Marco used gel.

Yeah mTp's been rocking talent wise now since about '04.... That's when I really started following the games again. Had kinfolk playing that got me watchin again, since High School days there.... '04-'05 team was loaded...best all around team I seen at mTp in a while.... defense those years was slaughtering teams.... most goose eggs for opponents I think I've ever witnessed....most games was finished at halftimes. Then comes the Marco dominated years....

I subbed in as a freshman or soph (got hit in the head a lot so memory's fuzzy) on the d-line. There was no catching him.
