hey basinAlun I am assuming you are from copper basin. I was looking at our(Gville) history and in 83 and 84 we played a team in the playoffs called copper hill. Just wondering if copper basin use to be called copper hill?

We weren't called Copper Hill, but it was Copper Basin. I am not sure why that says Copper Hill on there. The head coach and defensive coordinator at Basin right now were on that team so I got to hear all about the Gordonsville games. Other than the 2010 team, those teams that got beat by Gordonsville were the most successful teams in Copper Basin history, but Gordonsville spoiled the chance of a state championship opportunity..... Twice.
