Brentwood vs Wilson Central (#2 vs #7, Quad 3 Round 1)

The problem is when wilson central has faced a quality opponent, they've come up on the losing end. They are going to have to stop shooting themselves in their own feet if they want to win against a quality opponent.

 

Stop the bad penalties, stop the turnovers, run the darn ball

Strange post because if I am remembering correctly the 2 turnovers in the red zone were fumbles from runners,I know at least one was.Turnovers happen more against good ,well coached teams like MJ.You guys have a very good QB,I dont believe I would be quick to throw him under the bus if I were WC for sure.Int. are part of any QB's life,even the great ones.Just watch tv on sat and sun and you will see.When you play teams like Beech and MJ,they are going to be ready and know your plays.Hope you guys pull out some new stuff and are ready for Brentwood,I for one am rooting for you.I wouldn't mind to see a rematch.

2 of the 3 interceptions were bad throws, the two fumbles were definitely in the endzone, you're right. My only point was that against MJ either the refs were out to get them or they couldn't keep from being flagged. 100+ yards in penalties on any given night is a recipe for failure.

 

Roundtree is one of the top two QB's in 9AAA, no question about that. But wilson central is going to need everything he has come tomorrow night to win, if they start throwing the ball

It is going to take everyone giving everything they have tomorrow night.Our defense,our offensive line,our receivers,RBs,coaches.We need to support our QB,he should not be carrying any games on his shoulders alone.No matter what happens,WC has had a great season.Very proud of all our players,I believe they have given it their all.Good Job Wildcats and Good Luck !

I've seen both teams play and from what I've seen Brentwood looked a bit stronger. I think Brentwood takes the game by 7 or 10.

Central players get pumped up its what yal have worked for all year. So don't make it your last game of the year. Yal come out friday night with a win. Yal had some Tough losses against strong teams which does not even matter now. Yal have made it to the playoffs. First time Central as a 6a team has made it to the playoffs. So represent and make your record 1-0 against Brentwood. Lets get some points up early. WC 30-27.

you are correct the BHS O line is one of the best in the state - Old man like me could gain 100 a night with them blocking...very tough draw for both teams and should be fun game -

Hahaha yeah ive heard a few folks say they would be able to run through their line as well. Linebackers need a big game. I know Indy has a pretty good run defense from what i saw in a scrimmage. Idk how many good defenses they have faced
