Nice school with over 800 students but ZERO talent. Pay is low and few assistant coaches in a tough district. I have friends who applied last time and said they gave it to someone with almost no experience but he was a local kid and so they thought that would help them win games. Last year they played a tough schedule with mostly underclassman and was destroyed in every contest. THE ONLY PEOPLE who will apply for this job are younger coaches who think they can change the world and some old dogs looking to retire. Nice place but no one in their right mind would touch it!

Any early names? I would think there were none cept maybe a former coach or heck, who knows!?

I heard from a bird that a current College coach in NC is interested. He had family move into east Tennessee and is looking for a head job close by. I know he sent resume in.

Heard today that no one has applied yet but they have reached out to some assistant coaches on other teams. Not sure how credible that is but my source works for the school system.

How is it possible there is "zero" talent in a school that size? Weren't they pretty good in basketball a few years ago? There has to be something else that's wrong there.
