He's about 5'11 180. I think he could potentially be a d-1 prospect, he's got all the tools IMO.

The thing is. For him to be a RB @ the next level in D-1 he would probably have to be bigger then that, unfortunately. Unless he has the speed of a Devrin Young from Bearden, whom is now playing for the Vols had. And that kinda speed is hard to come by. Maybe he does? I have never seen him play. If he does, then i would agree with you.

I don't expect him to get recruited by a big time school like UT. Hes quick and can run but not like Devrin Young. His game is his vision, he sees the holes before they open, does a good job of feeling for cutbacks, and follows his blockers. He's also a great return man and cover corner. He hasn't played corner this year because they need him getting 25 carries a game, but he was 1st team all IMAC as a db last year. I could see him being a solid 1-AA or small 1-A recruit.

Yeah, i was gonna say. He would probably be best suited @ corner at the next level. This day an age 180 is just too small for how big kids are today. That would be very hard on him to be a RB @ that size. Either way, i wish him and the Trojans the best. My uncles played for the Trojans. One in the mid 70's, and the other the early 80's. The older one was also a standout hoops player for the Trojans, and both were sprinters for the track team. My mother is a 1974 graduate. Best wishes to ya'll from Oak Ridge!

Thanks, and good luck to the Wildcats from Morristown!

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
