Got it marked down...........I'm not going to do the same, I don't know if mc will win next year but it should be a better game. I still think sp is down a little next year after losing their three best players on d, and three of their best on o. Time will tell............

He will have to be without Johnson!! They won't have Lil Johnson next year to have everyone's attention so he will be asked of ALOT...Now I doubted the kid early on but Stone ended up being SOLID......That kid along with Johnson answered the bell this year when they were needed most..Both had big years....I will say this though he was a better spread QB than WingT though...He threw for a buttload of yards in 2011 with a injury plagued WR core and then really took a backseat this year in the T without any playmakers at WR....Fitz will be a dandy too though! However the spread is not the answer as they do NOT have a Johnson or R Hale coming back....Lankford is more power than speed and needs to figure that out....He doesn't have it laterally like you need to make cuts out of the spread....You gotta have Mitchell back there as well! He was more dynamic to me this year of what I saw than Hale....Maybe a Shotgun Veer look like they ran in 2011 and run lots of option but if not stay in the WingT......All those guys are back up front and what was a big weakness this year SHOULD be a huge strength next year.....I never saw the young wing play so I can't comment on him...His last name is Fitz? Are they brothers? Personally I think 21 could see some action at Wing....He reminds me alot of a Ronnie Griffith/David Cagle/Parker type player....He should be involved as well...Pirates will be scary next year...Anyone thinking otherwise or in for a rude MERCY awakening! That is all

SP has alot returning, BUT I agree with part of your statement. They do lose 3-4 really good players.

OP - we all just were licking our wounds after the loss to Gordy, but are slowly recovering. As for 2013, the remaining players learned a whole lot about how to play in tough games in the loss to Gordy & this WILL make them better - the loss of our seniors however will offset this gain. At least Gordy is losing that big bunch of seniors too so if we meet them come playoffs I expect a different outcome! Go P! I feel a heap better after seeing OP's lineup! Thank ye OP!!

The young Fitz will show us what he can do next season & I am looking forward to it after seeing him in the Columbia game. It is also encouraging to know that our 6,7 & 8 year olds are racking up wins as well. We will enjoy great Pirate football for many years to come! Go P!!!

The east next season will come down to Greenback, Coalfield and SP. Gordonsville will be ok as well, but will be very young in alot of areas.

I agree, I just don't think they will be what they were this season. Didn't I read where many of the second team guys were seniors as well?

all but 1 or2 on the line we will have some good d players but the line is what will hurt us we have some big boys gety them in the weight room and we will see what happens

Old Pirate ain't been much of a fan of the move on mess us fellers is force fed. Anyhow OP keeps hearing whispers about youngun looking at moving to SP that could help the Pirates out next year. Family ain't happy and looking to move to area this spring/summer. Jest wondered if any others fellers heard similar chatter?
