The "REAL" Mr. FOOTBALL wears #7 for NCS. His stage will be Paul Ward Field come Friday night. Not to disrespect #29's fine year, but at the end of the night he''ll be thinking "wow, those city boys really hit hard"! What say you SWO?

By the end of the night, there may not be any city boys left to hit. Then you will be thinking "Wow"

This is going to be a show down. Over the last 3 weeks during the playoffs #7 and #29 have both put up some solid rushing stats. Combined between these 2 RB's they have rushed for 1286 yards from scrimmage with 20 TD's!

Not trying to be contrary, but I wish I had a dollar every time I heard someone say, "all we have to do is stop Booker". And one or two teams did for about 5 plays a game. The other 15 times he carried the ball, they failed. Huntingdon may be the first team to do it and if they are, we will all take our hats off to them. But we still want to come give it a try Friday night

 

That's why I noted that I didn't know anything about NC. Also, I really wasn't being sarcastc when I said "good luck". I do believe iit will come in handy for ya'll to have it on your side. Huntingdon has a lot of history of going deep into playoffs and this isn't new territory for them except for recent 5 (+/-) years but still................! In Class 1A this season, Huntingdon is obviously and definitely the best in the west.

 

I'll remind you though that I've seen Collinwood play this season and they in no shape, form or fashion can compare to the 'Stangs.

 

But heck, come on over here and visit Paul Ward Stadium. Get a taste of what the elite teams in the West live like,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,we do well for ourselves over here. And we love our football too. The 'Stangs are our rivals and I know what they bring to the table. Again, good luck NC. Have a safe trip.

Huntingdon has not faced a defense like Nashville Christian. The "Stang" stampede is just the QB running the Wildcat 40 times a game. NCS will knock him around and wrap him up with a big pink bow. Collinwood was by far a better team than Huntingdon.

Jeff Brothers is Nashville Christians coach and as a quarterback at Brentwood Academy, he helped guide the Eagles to two straight state championships (1987 and ’88), with the ’88 team finishing with a No. 7 ranking by USA Today. He went on to become a four-year letterman at Vanderbilt, playing safety under head coaches Watson Brown and Gerry DiNardo. He was an assistant at his alma mater, BA, for two years (1994-95), then coached at CPA for six years under David Pack before he took his first head coaching job at JPII in’02.
