Offense trumps defense in high school football. Too many missed assignments on the defensive side of the ball. A team is better off being able to score at will than to stop at will.

To be honest, Maryville has been pretty suceptible to the pass this year. If a team can consistently throw it against them then they can be beaten. However, most teams are more prone to make mistakes against Maryville because Maryville makes them put up so many points to hang with them. So far, Siegel has done what they have had to do to hang with Maryville. However, in a lot of years the 4th quarter is where Maryville shows their worth. Should be a fun ending.
