Sad day for Smith County

I agree the schedule has improved, but Alcoa idint win their district,Gordonsville is 1a, and Cookeville and Warren play in the weakest district in the state. Giles county beat Cookeville a couple years ago pretty handaly if that tell you anything.

This has got to be the most stupid post I have seen! Alcoa, the BEST 3A team in the state year in and year out, Gordonsville, STATE CHAMPS, Cookeville - Giles County beat them a couple years ago, their QB is the starter for Ole Miss, shows you know so little about high school football. Giles County has one of the best programs in the state, just ask any team that plays them. Yes, Warrren is the lone weak team. I ask you again, what team do you support? I asked you once and you never identified yourself with a local team.

I aint got no such thing with Maynord. My gate don't swing that way. I aint judging you but that aint my bag sister. This is thread about CArthrages coach so it aint about My team. And if I wanted to look like a fool I"d spend my energy trying to claim Carthrage was a successful program even though they aint. 4-6 at best. :flower:

One tough schedule in 20 years and that's all Carthrage has to crow about. Nuff said. :flower:

Why all these people hating on the owls? Solid program year in and out.

Hs you have not been on CoachT long enough to fall into the trap of texting

with Daisy Duke. It is useless - as you can see from his texts and thinking. If you notice, no one will text him, you see why!! NUFF SAID

You are wrong about Alcoa buddy they did win their district! They didn't win the quarterfinal matchup with CAK!!

You reply to me more than anyone Mr. Nobody. :flower:

Highschoolnut it's the Carthrage fans that don't like the truth that bring out the haters. You seem to be the only one with any common sense. The Carthrage die hards will hate YOU for that. :flower:

You left Macon Co. as a weak team on our schedule!

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
