Just got a flyer in the mail about the National Softball

Coaches Clinic in Nashville at the Marriott on Jan. 24-25,

2003. Go to www.nationalsportsclinics.com to register on-

line and to see what college coaches will be there. It is

open to all travel and high school coaches, also players

ages 14-22. All coaches, new or old, will find this is

very worthwhile.

Same clinic that has been held for several years. Good clinic if you haven't been, but I have been for 7 straight years, and it is the same ole-same ole every year. I go for the conversation of friends I only see in the summer. I haven't gone into the sessions the last 4 years, just sit in the lobby and talk. Of couse, this is me. Everyone is different!

 

BUT, if you haven't been, GO, it is worth it.

There is a lot of stuff that is rehashed. It is a great clinic for a novice coach though. There are some sessions that are very helpful. I just wish they went into more detail on some stuff. I would love to see more practice routines and drills. I would also like to see an open session at the end where the coaches attending could ask more questions and maybe even do some demonstrations of things they use day to day.

LOL, I retired that move this year, never to be seen in public again!!!

I will be there the first part of Friday, but I have a basketball game that night. I'll be there all day Saturday though I'm sure. I scheduled Wesley one game. I still have a game or two to fill. How is the legend's conditioning? Are you ready for the regular season? Keep in touch. KD
