A-AA girls

Who do you think the top 5 will be for girls in A-AA girls? What do you think the top 5 teams will be? My prediction to win state is Kori Bledsoe, from Fairview, with Lauren Williams from David Lipscomb close behind. Teams I think David Lipscomb, Obion County and Sullivan Central will probably be the top 3, not sure of the order quite yet. Any other thoughts?

Alcoa has a very talented group of girs. ran a 48.6 in 4X1 last season w/everybody returning.

I agree with ya buddy. the Lady T's have all 4 coming back from a terrific season. They set school records and could break the state record this year. My cousin is the anchor leg and she runs a 12.00, so I think they have a good shot to win the state this year.

Everyone in the state knows who Stephanie Woodfin is, b/c she came in second in the nation in the 100m last summer, and she won the state last year. She goes to Knox-Carter and she runs a 11.8 or something like that. There is a very good chance that she could repeat!!!

Count up Molly Kennedy's(Hume-Fogg) total number of points from state last year as a sophomore. Its pretty high up there. I thought this was originally about cross country. But what about A/AA guys?

well everyone knows who daveda dean is too b/c she won 200 meters @ state last year and she might just win both 100 and 200mts this year. Good luck Daveda

Ridgeway girls have won state twice in a row....lost 2 from team...still look strong!

Who will win the A-AA girls state 100 meter and 200 meter. Will it be Daveda Dean or Stephanie Woodfin. Stephanie won the 100 meter and Daveda won the 200. When both girls are at full strength Stephanie is a stronger runner. Her starts are not very good though. Daveda lost to Stephanie in the 100 and 200 in the Volunteer Track Classic in 2002, but I'm not sure if Daveda was at full strength. Stephanie beat her by a pretty good amount. None the less, it will be a great match up in this years Regionals and State.

They are both great friends and great competitors.

Stephanie is going to be the top dawg in A-AA. All of you Deveda Dean fans very well must have missed the Nationals in Knoxville summer. Stephanie dominated and she is just a junior at that.

Stephanie did dominate in the summer, but she can't beat Daveda consistantly. She won't win every race againt Daveda. They have been running together for so long now, and they know each other's weaknesses. I don't know who will win state this year, but I will be there. I love both of them like sisters.
