I don't get why these kids continue to transfer their senior year leaving old teammates & possibly longtime friends, but IMO they may feel having a chance to compete nationally and possibly win a state championship is worth it. Once again Rutherford County will be stacked with alot of great games this season because Smyrna, Blackman, and Oakland have great players also so only the strong will survive and advance to state. Good luck to all and have fun.

No different than boys going out of state to play their senior year for Oak Hill Academy, Monteverde Academy, Huntington Prep.  Chance to play for a great and storied program and win a state/national championship and an opportunity to up their stock in school choice as well.  All three are being recruited by DI schools already.

These players would be recruited just as much from their former schools.

Not really - the coaches want to see how the recruit performs against other elite players - playing in an elite program gives them a better opportunity to be seen in a competitive setting.  The other issue is being seen by coaches when they are scouting other players on the team.
