Hardin Valley is tough this year. Tied farragut and beat us 1-0 and 2-1 so the popes team deserves some respect so maybe worthy of ranking I would think. I just have not seen them

 

 

Legitimate question. They tied Hardin Valley 2-2 and beat West 4-1.They also beat my Irish 2-1. I wouldn't be surprised if they won A/AA state this year.

Cannon, saw you working the Grace-Silverdale game last night. Fully intended to give you the business but thought better of it. Good for you for donning the jersey and jumping into the fire.

 

I was home watching the ND Boyd football game on TV. You must have seen my twin brother Ralph. It is hard to tell us apart. I am the good looking one.

Soddy Daisy 2-1 over ND

 

Word I got from afar was that Soddy had a parent tossed out on his "Sneeze" by the ref in the first half and ND had to play more than half the game without a goalie (Red Card & possibly a questionable call at that). Now it appears that ND will have to play North Red Bank (Signal Mountain) Tuesday for the District Championship without one of the best; if not the best Goalies in the area. WOW! Hope Boogerette can step up next week in the back and save the day.

 

Someone there, want to chime in? Either color glasses will do for me. Booger interested.

      All high school coaching postions are year to year. At least in public schools.

      Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year

      That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.

      Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
