ChiefStrong just sees and knows how good the OL from Sequoyah can be, not going to lie, that WV game was tough to swallow.  Playing behind the chains from the 2nd quarter and on, with what seemed like 1 mistake on every play, compounded with the hose job from the refs...just tough to take in.  Anyway, this is a big district game for both teams, I know Central was not at full strength in the jamboree and seems to be playing better of late. I look for the Chiefs shake that game off from last week, get back to doing what they do best, Sequoyah 21, McMinn Central 6.

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.  But my point was who can blame a kid for not wanting to be in a private school.  Nobody is zoned for a private school, it's a free country right?
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
