they arent a terrible team, they just lost alot from last yr. And they play a very tough schedule

Indicators point to a no answer, based on the last two weeks' performances. Agree with fooseball96...not a terrible team; lost a lot of skilled position and line talent from last year. Also playing a very demanding schedule on top of all the above. Hopefully Coach Cagle and company can get things headed in the right direction.

The problem for McMinn's foreseeable future that I see is the schedule remaining tough, but not enough freshmen and sophomore talent for drastic improvement.  Personally, I've always liked the demanding non-District teams scheduled even if our overall record wasn't that good, but the back-to-back-to-back-to-back gauntlet of good teams we're playing isn't conducive to keeping a team healthy or inspired when they're getting their clocks cleaned each week.  Keeping them motivated will be the biggest challenge for the coaches the rest of this season.

Kudos to McMinn for the tough schedule, they could have taken the easy route but decided not to. Playing 3 state ranked teams back to back to back is tough on any team.

It's hard to believe that McMinn is down this season......heck they manage to beat the Owls the last 2 seasons..... And Cleveland plays better in Hooterville and we win more at their house.....
