Farragut vs Fulton

I wonder how Alcoa was able to beat this Fulton team just last year 30-7 and now this year no team is even worthy of being mentioned in the same breath . So how many more D1 recruits

 

does this Fulton team have this year than whitehaven had last year ? Does Fulton have a RB who will be playing in the SEC next year ? I like our Defense this year better than last years even with two freshmen playing. Those freshmen are gonna be superstars at Maryville . I'm actually happy for Fulton and it would be nice for another

area team to win another championship , it just amazes me how quick Maryville is always beaten in the IFL league . Seriously if Maryville lost every time they faced a team with more athletes and

more hype , Maryville would only have 1 or 2 state Championships . Even in 2011 when we had an unprecedented 2 D1 players at one time , we still had to beat a team who had more D1

athletes .

I was at that game ..while Alcoa controlled the game defensively -- the score was still 10-0 with 7 mins left in 4th Qtr before Fulton gave up a pick 6 and fumble deep in their territory .. so game was alot closer than score indicated .

Stop with the fulton maryville comparisons, it will not happen this year or many years to come. Fulton is great. Maryville is great. Would be a heck of a game, but its not going to happen. Back to the thread topic I believe fulton wins 45-3

alot closer than score indicated .

However, Alcoa had over 100 yards in penalties in the first half of that game. The score should have been close to 17-0 at half rather than 3-0.

Looking for a closer game tonight for sure .. have watched some highlights of Farragut on Hudl -- defense looks physical and offense some play makers ... defense likes to bring pressure upfield with LB's .. but watch out for the pitch sweep .. if Falcons get outside .. adios . if Falcons dont bring A game  could be close.
