Jefferson County Football - Any opinions?

Obvious problems. Worse part a lot of season left.

For one thing, we are running a spread offense when we do not have the personel to run.

We should be running the Veer option.

We need a new OC, but of course that will not happen until next year, I hope  !

There is more to talk about, but this enough.

Things haven't been the same @ JC since he left there. Amazes me that a school with over 2000 students can't be more competitive then JC is. Wow.

The head coach that is their now is a good coach but most of his assistant coaches are terrible.The oc needs to go back to middle school where he belongs. Kisabeth had great assistant coaches,Cobble dose not.

Wow,I had a bet with the old man on how long this thread would last before the "fire the coach" whining started. I said pg 1 but I didn't count on it being 4 posts in.

Its that time again already! Let's see about 3 years ago this same thread started about a former Coach.  He has since moved on to bigger better things.  Cobble is doing the best job that he can.  Maybe he does need some help but who will help him Jeff Co pays very little. Maybe he needs a new OC, maybe he needs this or maybe that but the point is he has what he has.  If Coach Ballard lost 41-0 to Jeff Co would this thread be started about him.

1timeout is right.  These assistants were forced upon coach cobble, just as some of them were when medows was there and Euverard and coach anderson, although coach anderson was in over his head to begin with. Coach Cobble IS a good coach, its just what he has to deal with.

Yes, the OC would be the first to go, then work from there.

somehow I don't see Greeneville fans turning on a coach who took them to 2 consecutive state championships...but seriously, don't you think JC has just had to deal with devastating injuries.
