I think that Tullahoma has the best facility of any that we have played on. They have a great stadium, field and jumbo tron. Nice place to go and play.

Since the renovation, yes, it is a great place. Although I will say this, it is a crying shame that some part of the stadium or field is not named after Coach O.

I have not been to many stadiums but I have only been to stadiums in North East TN. I have played as well as watched in many NE TN Stadiums.

1.) The Stone Castle (TN High) Yes, I may sound biased as I played at Tenn. High but just playing in the Stone Castle has the wonderful feeling. Tenn. High has installed turf and will begin to add another project with the addition of a concession stand in front of the scoreboard.

2.) J. Fred Stadium (DB): The War Hoop. Turf. 400 person band. 70+ football players. 1000+ fans screaming. What is not to love?

3.) Greeneville High School: The atmosphere at GHS is wonderful with the locker room/field house beside the stadium as well as all the bushes around the field with the turf. The fan base is amazing to watch and witness their reactions.

4.) Kermit-Tipton Stadium (The Hill, Science Hill) The "jumbo tron" sucks to be honest. Too small. Way too small. Beautiful stadium though. I loved playing on their field. I played on it once (The new field with the turf btw). Watching from the stands however, I feel as if we are too far away from the field.

You are dead to me

When I was there, I thought it would be two sided 35 years later. The track should have been around the practice field. It wasn't good for track meets with the fence right on the first lane and the sidewalk, in front of the stands, next to the outside lane. I spent plenty of time on that track.

It will be two sided when I get rich and donate money to the school to fix up the stadium.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
