6-0 Fairview @ 5-0 Lewis County

Come on Fairview. We just got to take it on the chin and grin. Anyone who watched the game and can read the stats knows we beat ourselves. You have to give Lewis credit for forcing the turnovers. They stuck there hat on the ball and it won them the game. The officiating wasn't the reason we lost. You can't chop block and expect to get away with it. I can honestly say I didn't witness any Lewis penalties that went un called except a late hit out of bounds, a few holds that didn't help anyway and a little movement on the line a couple times. The pass interference in end zone was nuts but we just played undisciplined and got beat. Simple as that. We haven't played like that all year and shouldn't have last night. It's time to give Lewis credit and prepare for Hickman Co. We have a perfectly good opportunity to prove ourselves then.

 

If you want to play what if game, think about when it was 1st and goal on the 5 that ended up being a 4th and 19 pick due to penalties and forcing the ball into coverage. That was our opportunity to win the game and we blew it. You've got to get those points when you're averaging 10 yards a carry on the ground.

 

Congrats again to the Panthers on a hard fought win. Best of luck in the future.

you know Lewis Co can play the what if game to right but would 'be could've should've doesn't mean nothing! I can sit here and tell you about a bunch of plays we messed up on! Anyway you can say what you want but we earned that win the ref's or Fairview didn't give us nothing! I'm done talking about this it's a useless thread now, the game is done. Good luck swarm to you and Fairview for rest of the season ! Ya'll have a good football team. By the way! Walls is a stud!!!!!!!

Perhaps I'm not the most eloquent person on the keyboard but in case you didn't catch my drift. I just gave Lewis county credit for winning the ball game. I also suggested that maybe Fairview should look in the mirror if they want to blame someone for losing. My what if was directed to the Fairview fans blaming the outcome on the referees. I actually think I was pretty clear with that. What if's are useless.

Also LCP. Since you asked me to tell you. The disappointment was pretty rough. Especially considering how we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. But you were wrong about one thing in your pre game assessment. You guys are still not as fast as us. You're fast though.

Swarm I will disagree with your last response. Dominated.????? You must have been on the sauce. 3 point game with us moving up and down the field all night. Except when ever we got close the hankies went flying. I won't go into the blatant holding on #23 on 3 occasions or the Bogus illegal receiver down field call to name a few . We LOST I get it. you will never read a negative comment from me about LC. They are a class act but please get over yourself and your so called expertise. Like I wrote I hope these 2 teams play again. I will also bet this officiating crew will have no one selected for the playoffs.

Not sure about the Wall comment. #22 is an outstanding player but there are at least 2 others. Let me educate Lcp on our athletes. There are currently 3 being recruited to play on Saturday. Wall is the one getting the most attention from bigger schools but the others will play on Saturday too. How many do you have# 48 was the only one I saw who can play d2 or NAIA. The keys to LC success are the outstanding coaches and players who play disciplined mistake free football. This formula will result in success for your football team.

Actually We have 5 That I know of being Looked at already 7,48,47,56,63 3 of those being D1-AA

Good luck to them I think 48 has the best chance. His body type is what colleges look for.
