I hope McGue sits.

To bad Science Hill even has to play this game. No disrespect intended towards Central. I wish Central could drop down a class, is all I'm saying.

I completely agree with everything you said. Crockett's bad but Sullivan Central is a whole new level of bad. Honestly, the Toppers could probably play their 2nd and 3rd string and still win by 50.

Hill, any news on Gad Nagba? I know he went out with an injury vs TN High early on and didn't return.

Crockett's bad but Sullivan Central is a whole new level of bad....................................................................................I can't even imagine in football terms how one of my friends who has a kid playing for Central feels after tonight.I would just be ready for the season to end and maybe they make some changes to help next years team.

It's hard to keep players at Central.  Most of the decent players always seem to transfer to DB, South, and THS.

And Science Hill needs to sit most of their players.  Give the injured ones time to heal and prevent further unnecessary injuries.

I agree totally! I would transfer too if given the opportunity.

SH-28 Sullivan Central-10 at the half. Toppers once again playing without multiple starters but that's no excuse for their uninspired 1st half performance. Central playing really inspired. They want this game.

Malik McGue started for the Toppers but left after their 1st series and has not returned. Sophomore QB Justin Bedard has been in since.

Final score. Science Hill-56 Sullivan Central-10.

Major props to a couple of underclassmen for stepping up and playing big for the Toppers tonight in the absence of many starters. Sophomores Justin Bedard, Elijah Mathes and Jordan Holly all had a big game. Juniors Marcus Patton and Tre Sutton played a huge role in the win as well.

Heard McGue was in the game for 2 plays before leaving with a limp.  Hopefully, he didn't make things worse.  He shouldn't even dress next week for Volunteer. Take the time for it to heal fully and get ready for Week 10 and (the brief) beyond.

Yes. He started the game but went out during the Toppers first series. It wasn't smart for him to even be in there. Multiple starters were out for this game and I believe McGue was the only one that tried to play. While honorable, it clearly wasn't the best idea. There's no doubt in my mind he won't play next week vs Volunteer. Hopefully he'll be back and healthy for the Boone game in two weeks.
