Woodby, I'm sure your intentions were not our of line. And even if it was a video of your son no harm done. Even though it would have been a bit pretensious. However, it is the common consensus, that Delta Force is a joke. It's hard to improve on perfection.

It is fine. My son plays on Friday's. I just try to do the little videos for whoever wants. It dont matter to me delta force, cyclones, hampton anybody that asks. I enjoy it the kids enjoy seeing them.

Hey actually I even have done some old farts. You may all get a kick out of this one Cloudland vs Hampton alumni game.

Woodby, if he is playing tomorrow night in Death Valley then please give us his rundown. After all, if you're a dad you must be proud...right? C'mon, nobody posts as much stuff on here as you have lately without having a personal interest. Trust me...I know. So give it up...we want it all...position, number, grade, size, speed, sexual preference...etc. And if you say his name is Ethan I'll shift gears. S'go...give us supin ta chew on...lay it out Dude!

Yes he is. I have plenty to be proud of with him. However, He is part of a team. His individuals mean nothing when it comes to game time. I do have a personal interest, That is mainly why I choose not to post a score in this game that personal interest may kick my own rear end. He plays a few positions, #30 Senior  small  decent speed. ANd if he does not calm down and get some rest I am going to beat his rear end. .

Is that youth league still playing, or are they finished for the season?

They usually play a 10 game season with a 4-team playoff/championship game in early November. I have not been involved in 5 years though so things may have changed. The name is a bit misleading because there are teams from outside Sullivan County. I know Gray is represented, Church Hill, and I heard Tri-Cities Christian may have had a team in there as well this year.

BTW- I got the same impression as Comp on Delta Force.

Well Fletcher your running your mouth again about something you know nothing about. Most of the starters for rebs are kids who came through the Fordtown teams and I am so proud how these kids have played. As for the Delta Force comment I Coached these great group of kids. And Travis half of them were from the CH or the Sullivan area. As far as sportsmanship we teach that as well as morals and fundamentals. It warmed my heart to have all the kids raise their hands when asking who wanted to lead the team in prayer each day. Go Rebs

Those are some nice videos, the little guys have heart and passion for the game...whoever did those did a great job. Where else besides football can you get a group of second graders put on a show like that, both teams look well coached, daddy's or not. The kids look like they are having fun and learning this great game....all you heaters can just suck it...go to the Greeneville page if you want to make fun of little kids, daddy's or coaches, I'm sure you will be welcomed with open arms.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
