con901
Marlon, Dontae, & Birdsong in my opinion. Here's why Marlon and Dontae both had big summers playing with the Wings they won at the Eybl and Won the 16 and u Nationals both were big time there plus last season they both had a little bit better of years not saying khalil is not a stud he is big time I'm just waiting to see a little bit more from him like the season he had as a freshman at B.T.W. and Terrance Birdsong is a flat out beast to me khalil still has time I think is a talented as K.J. He just has not brought it like those above him that's all same goes for Lil Nych Edited November 1, 2013 by con901
1warrior
I agree Marlon & Dontae did have big summers, but I don't think they had a better season than Khalil but that's my opinion. I think its more of an exposure thing AA vs AAA ball. He was All Shelby Metro, & All State again. Great observation

SayWhat
Khalil has no position that translates to college. Is he a 2/3, two slow to play the 2 and 2 little to play 3 at Division 1. Would that be agreed upon? He's 6'3 at the most, strong but to small to play the 3 in college at a Ole Miss type school. He's a mid kid who can hoop but he's just kind of in between positions. Birdsong, Donte and Marlon all have defined positions.
1warrior
If Khalil would have stayed at BTW he probably wins Mr. Basketball 2-3 times and this conversation is totally diffrent. I've seen his development from just a scorer to more of an all around game. Maybe I'm just a homer, but as of today, I think he's better than 7th. SayWhat
I think he better than Marlon..Marlon never been more than a role player on good teams. Khalil has been the guy at least.
chipper_jones_4mvp
Bradford from Humboldt would keep him from winning Mr.Basketball.

Marlon was Melrose second leading scorer last season and he may be houston Leading scorer I agree with you what you said about Khalil not having a real position Edited November 1, 2013 by con901
