CAK vs. Catholic State finals

I was talking to Jesse Smithey and we both think that this is actually the first time that two Knoxville teams have met in the A/AA state finals.

 

Catholic has had CAK's number all season long, winning in regular season, district and region playoffs.  I think it will take everything that CAK has to win this one, but thankfully, this is why they play the game.  Any team can be beaten on any given day (look at Farragut... I thought for sure they would go the distance).  

 

I heard that Catholic had a tough game yesterday, though I also know that CAK is a bit sore and injured.

I'm looking forward to watching the championship though I'd rather be watching the other Irish. CAK did not seem to like CPA's physicality and they were definitely battered around in the 2nd half. Credit to them for battling through it and finding a way to win. I'm still not sure how their first goal went in.

I just realized what price tag you are referring to...  Apparently, the TSSAA and the NFHS have decided to charge to watch the game on line...

 

$10 for a "one day pass".  Ridiculous.
