OR and EAST HAMILTON

They have a D1 receiver who can catch anything that is thrown to them. I bet that they will but up some points.

Our defense is good, but I would feel better if we didn't have a habit of playing two or three really good downs and then giving up a big play. Our safeties and corners need to bring their A game.

We can't go giving up 92 yard runs anymore.

Wildcats have faced Darel Middleton  D1 recruit WR from Powell he is going to the Tennessee Vols. The secondary played well against him covering him up. Hope they can do the same against EH. If our run game is on track we will win I think. Special teams for OR are Outstanding( Don't Know about EH special teams) hope it comes down to that.

Nobody can afford that in the playoffs. Our defense has played their guts out, I just hope Joe lets this offense loose. I think they play so much better when they play fast and wide open. Some drives it wont work out, but that's the only chance we have in the playoffs. What they've been doing hasn't worked offensively, that's for certain

It's a bit different when you don't have Owenby throwing to Middleton.  You faced backups in that game who weren't as adept at throwing to him.  Also I expect EH to have a very competent QB to get the ball to their WRs.  With that said, I'm a 3AAA homer so I'm pulling for OR of course.  Go Cats!

IF Jalen is hot. If he's not, he can't hit a bull in the #### with a bass fiddle. They can't stick with the pass if Jalen isn't on, or the receivers drop balls. Personally, I'd like to see a few passes to the TE, but I'm a bit biased in that regard.

I Agree. The Qb hurt a little but he was a non factor in the game when he lined up at RB. He had a couple tackles at DE OLB but over all some times when you count on one person to  it can bite you in the butt. Good Luck to the MAVS don't think you will need it. Hope you win BIG.

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
