Playoff round 1, Blackman vs Smyrna round 2

At the first of the game, the two teams will be fairly equal.  Smyrna has some foot athletes.  After a few series, the Smyrna boys will begin getting tired as many are playing on both sides of the ball.  Blackman needs to make it simple, line up and play hard-nosed football and run it directly at Smyrna.  May not be pretty but Smyrna will wear down and the initial 3 yard runs will turn into 7 yard runs.  Smyrna needs to get a couple of breaks on turnovers to be competitive.  I have seen both teams play and predict Blackman 28, Smyrna 7.

Minus last weeks hangups with the refs, our team is still not playing up to their full potiental. This makes me nervous. Smyrna is a hard playing team and they will use any weakness we have to get the upperhand. Our QB needs to stop talking trash on his instagram account with his videos and concentrate on showing his talent on the field. This is a big concern for me and I hope he proves me wrong.

You are correct. There is no situation that I would like to win or lose under controversy. It takes something away from it. If you are true competitor or fan you want the folks on the field to decide things. I expect a great battle. Smyrna wanting to prove something to themselves and Blackman with a chip on their shoulders and a bad taste in their mouths from last week. Just a couple of more days.

I'm gonna have to agree. Seems like we haven't been the same since the fender bender. Hopefully we can get back to the fundamentals and get away from those plays that haven't work to this point all season, and play within ourselves. If we don't get back to being  , we won't be around for long!
