Kingston going to play in THEIR benefit game Saturday?

I read Grace is going to have 2 games Saturday.They really want a 3rd.All benefits go toward to young man injured from Kingston.Why isn't Kingston playing?  Kingston vs Cumberland.Co would be good.Who cares about 0 and 10.It is a benefit game for your player!!!!

From what I've been told it's not a bowl game, they are just adding it as the 11th game and by TSSAA rules you can ad a 11th game!

It is extra football and I'll take it.It can't "officially" be called a Bowl Game       Just think 3 games in 1 day possibly????!!!!!!

Cumberland County does not wanna play because were happy we ended the season with a win. Using that for momentum going into the off season

I was told that Pankey was asked several times & said the team was too beat up to play & also said there were some kids headed to basketball so he couldn't do it. I think it is sad that the money is going for a player injured playing for him & they won't be there to help that cause. I'm sure Pankey cares about the kid & he knows what is best for his team, but still should play in this one. There is not a big difference in a 0-10 or 0-11 season, but they may have gotten a win.

 

There were several other teams interested in coming at the time such as Clinton & Oliver Springs. Either would have been a good matchup for Kingston. Probably too late in the week to get one of them now.
