UC beats Paducah Tilghman in overtime today at the McCracken County Hoopfest 52-45 in overtime. UC was down 2 with 4 seconds left and Jackie Hudson found Tamara Nettles for a layup after s made free throw by Tilghman.Tilghman is one team that that was bigger than UC in the post.Amber Fair led UC with 21 and Jackie Hudson had 12 or 13. Back in action tomorrow night against Lake Co.

This is a very big win....It's very hard to go into Kentucky and pull out a win against a good team..

UC leads 25-14 at the half. Coach Suiter tried to get an explanation on a foul and the ref would not give it to him he kept trying and ended up getting a technical. I'm sorry but this is unprofessional for the referee, a coach asks you what a player did you tell him. On the foul they said Jackie Hudson pushed off but don't think she did cause when they called she was running the other way even she looked confused on the call.

bigster, what is Lake Co. doing to play Union City to that close of a game?

Lake Co just take the air out the ball.UC got up by double figures and Lake Co made their run in the middle of the 4th quarter. Lake Co know the only way to hang in there is to take the air out of the ball.They have been successful for 2 games.UC was up 33-18 going into the 4th quarter, but just lost focused in the 4th,allowing 21 points in the quarter.Amber Fair didnt play the second half because of getting hit on the shoulder.Coach said on the radio that she couldve played,but after the physical game against Paducah Tilghman,he just decided to sit her.
