"Humboldt Vikings", how will they respond this year after winning state?

Humboldt relies too much on Bradford and Turner. Time and time again those two would isolate and try to go one on one with their man. Humboldt wont advance to state if they dont start sharing the ball. Also, the rebounding has to be addressed. Mitchell and BTW both rebound it well and Humboldt will possibly have to go through both to get another gold ball

You said a mouthful then. They do rely on two guys to do it all. I know these guys are good athletes but I don't see how they can continue to win that way. We were too deep, big and physical tonight.

Thats what I been saying all year people..I told G.C. and 87 the same thing..Those 2 guys Turner and Bradford shoot and the rest just crash and hope for a stick back..Humboldt gets much of their points on second chance.. Humboldt is a very good offensive rebounding team..Bradford is a legit player on any level but I just don't think Turner is consistent enough to give the Vikings what they need to host sub state this year..If they do make it to sub state and have to go to Memphis I don't think they get it done ..butt..I will root for them or anyone in 14a..Like I said tho..These district and Region tourny are going to be very exciting!

UC barley beat Gibson tonight..Biggest bunch of garbage u ever seen..63 to 58..The Boldt will beat them by 25 probly.

No, I don't think Humboldt will win by 25 because UC always plays them hard! 14a is a tough district & hard for kids to stay motivated every night. Humboldt only beat Halls by five points the first game but came out & played ball for four Qtrs. I think after that pitiful second half against Haywood, May have woke them up! Gibson County is not a bad team, they play hard & as a team they were at home!! Humboldt against UC Tuesday to determine the regular season champs, Humboldt wins it's theirs but if not it's a three way tie with a coin toss!!!

GC like Mr 87 said is not a bad team at all. The Pioneers have some good shooters size is hurting GC. Tuesday nite at Humboldt UC rolls in for a big game. Humboldt bounced back after lose to a good Haywood team. Humboldt goes out and plays their game UC is in for a long 32 minutes.

Keep thinking the Vikes have only two players they depend on. Thats what Humboldt wants u to do!

It don't matter what I said..UC won't get it done...I say Humboldt by 20

One bad game & your giving up on UC, the game against Humboldt will be under ten (10) win, whoever wins the game!! These are High School kids & it's hard for them to play at a high level every night but I assure thT Humboldt will be ready to play! Humboldt just beat halls by five points the first time but it was a totally different game last night, so nights it's just not your night!!!!

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what happened.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
