Lack of buy in by the parents and community has destroyed the football program. Started when they wouldn't buy into sheppard and only got worse with Julian. It will take years to repair the damage.

The Halls High School looking for a new head coach is the one in middle Tennessee, per the TSSAA website, and not Knox County Halls.

Newly is still around.  He worked as an assistant for the Halls basketball team over the past few years.  Not sure if he still is or not. 

 

Terrific young man from a really good family.

 

Newly is the FROSH basketball coach at Halls. He's a great guy, a real eye opener for the incoming freshman.

If the records are correct, 2-38 past 4 years and 18-48 back to 2007(last winning season@ 8-4).

Point taken, but seeing how the Halls in Knox County is a AAA regular season classification school and this discussion is on the AAA board, I don't think there is much confusion.

Ah you'd just make somebody mad. If you called it Halls Crossroads. That's like them folks in Strawberry Plaines, some  of them want to call it Straw Plaines. Too old fashion and country, ya know?
