Great season Adamsville. The west end is proud of ya'll. You left it on the field and played a great game. Also, congrats to Trouserdale on the W. In '08 it shoulda been us!! LOL Just thoughts of a cr

oh yeah, the number one ranked team, averaging 46 points per game, with better athletes in the skill positions, and a quarterback that was asked to be a preferred walk on at Tennessee is overrated.  I won't say anything bad about adamsville. you have to be a good team to be in this game, but if you think GCA was overrated you don't know much about football. And your defense have given up only 1 point less. Our strength of schedule 32nd. yours 56th. You can say anything you want on to why Adamsville will win, but don't act like we are soft. That's just not true.

 

No true fans from Adamsville thinks Trousdale is soft.  You guys have our utmost respect and look forward to playing you all.  I think both teams are pretty evenly matched  overall and that spells a great game on the field.  Both teams have worked hard to get to this game.  In August there were some 65 or so schools that all had the same goal.  Playing on 12/7.  These are the only two that will be doing it in 2a football so hats off to both teams.  We will be there and be loud in support of our boys win or lose.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
