Well, with the district tourney being complete now, 

#1 - Community

#2 - Forrest

#3 - Moore Co.

#4 - MTCS

 

Moore Co. gave Community a good game until the last 1:30 in the district semis and beat MTCS last night by 21. They are playing really good right now and may be a tough out moving forward into regionals  depending on the match up.

Well it looks to me like MTCS vs Houston Co,Moore co vs Nashville Christian, Forrest vs McEwen, and Community vs East Robertson.I think that is how it will shake out going forward.Where is the region tourney?

Who are your picks in the regions? Does anyone think there will be any surprises?

I will go with Community as the only winner. Most games should be close.

Community,Forrest,Nashville Christian,and Houston Co with Houston Co and Community in the finals

I think it will be community Moore Forrest Houston with first round wins. From what I have seen Houston is the only team that can beat 9a schools. Nashville Christian can win if they are playing great. Guess we will see which district is the strongest. With that being said I feel sorry for 10 a for the next few years because after this year there best team will not beat 9a fourth place team

How young is MC? There's a Nashville school starting two 8th graders and two Freshman. Are they younger than that?

By the way Nashville Christian couldn't possibly be a contender this year. They appear to play hard and are coached well but will have to work very hard to finish out of the bottom part of the district. Good kids and a good coach just a little young and small.

So much has changed in 9a with transfers, and girls getting healthy. I don't really know how it will play out this year. I just ready for the season to start, should be a good one.

MC is not younger than that. They are young tho, most of the players that really contribute are Freshmen.

Last year MC started five 8th graders a few times and this year will probably start 4 freshman and a senior
