No but I will be if they beat community mtcs and Forrest all this year. Huntland lives and dies by the three. In basketball you cannot sustain success by shooting the three.

Oh the bird sings a different tune now? Why cant you folks just say good job Huntland? Or way to play hard? Or congrats young ladies on a good game? Instead of bashing them on their style of play? SMH, sore losers, as usual. Everyone likes hearing the Baby Blue excuses.......

Lol, it's a long season. Good luck and we will see where everyone is at the end of the season.

This team is young. They are working hard and learning to work as a team. I have not seen Forrest play and we have played MTCS and Community close. I think they could finish in the top 3 if they keep working and do not have an off night at the wrong time. We start 1 junior 3 sophomores and a freshman. No seniors on the team for the second year. If they do not win you can bet they will not lay down. There is no quit in this team.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
