Koran Kennady is very underrated. The guy wrestled hwt last year and this yr is wrestling at the correct weight. Lost by 1 pt in the championship at GP against shotts whom is #1 at 220 and arguably shoulda won the match. I dont think this matchup vs WV will be as close as some think. But WV is definitely tough and will be up for the challenge.

This season as a junior at 220 natural weight:

GP West 2nd Place - lost by 1 point in finals to Shotts

Soddy Showdown 2nd Place - lost by 1 point in the finals

McCallie Inv 1st Place

 

Last season as a sophomore wrestling up at 285:

GP West 2nd Place - lost to Bruno

Knockout Christmas Classic (Osceola FL) 1st Place

McCallie Inv 2nd Place - lost by 1 point in finals to Archer

Beckingham for Walker is just a freshman at 220 and a second year wrestler he's impressive. That said Kennedy is probably going to pin him 2 or 3 period. Experience wins this one. I agree I think of all the teams Walker wrestles this year they match up worse against Cleveland. But they have improved a lot since the start of the season. Good luck to both.

I look for landers to get back to form as we get down the stretch and closer to state. Fighting hydration and then was sick but still wrestled against the bradley kid. He was impressive at GP

I'm not sure if Cotton and Oliver will even wrestle, they are projected to based on weight class but WV will probably do a lot of shuffling like they did against Bradley. It's hard to say who will actually wrestle each other in those weights. After watching Oliver against Alexander and Popp I definitely would not rule him out.

So you think it will possibly be 160 #3 Cotton vs. 170 #2 Hamilton?
