So that would put MBA 3rd and McCallie 4th?

Whatever the teams are, it remains true that one half is 1E-5E and 3E-2W, the other 1W-4E and 3W-2E.

 

So on one side:

 

Father Ryan

MBA

BA

SBA

 

And on the other side:

 

CBHS

McCallie

Briarcrest

Baylor

With unbalanced regions and unusual/inaccurate qualifying procedures and seed criteria it stands to reason that a challenge for a true second is warranted in the division 2 state dual championship. 

 

It would only add one match for two teams for a total of 4 matches which is how many the D1 finalists wrestle anyway.

 

I think the top three teams are very even this year with Baylor, McCallie, and Father Ryan. MBA is probably a 4th place team.
