I haven't seen any talk of Canon being so good.  DC is ranked much higher.  I would have expected a more lopsided score.  Just saying.......

CC was 8-3 coming into the game. It's not like they are bad. You don't always see lopsided scores. Softball just goes that way. I'll take a 15-0 record any day regardless of the score.

 

DC's freshman pitcher Caplinger pitched a no hitter including 11 strikeouts. She looks to be something special so far.

That wasn't the only close game they have been in this season season. I would say it was the tightest game thus far though. UCM I know you like the rankings and stuff, so how you feel about DC being at #2 right now?

I would say the Gordonsville game was a pretty tight one as well.

Yeah that was a tight one as well. Gordonsville actually got 4 hits in that game. We scored in the 2nd inning of that game though besides the 6th. I know I personally wouldn't of felt as tight with a early lead, even if it was just a one score lead.

LA over CM 4 to 2 in the first game. Second game LA wins 15 to 0 with the freshman Lefty pitching the shutout while going 3 for 3 at the plate!
