La plays much better last night. I believe they won 8 to 2 over Sparta. The bats came alive. Busy week ahead. Bring it on!

DeKalb has looked incredible so far.

To have given up a single point in 4 game and scored that many. Yes that's good. A freshman pitcher is doing a lot of it. Impressive if you ask me.

Tigerpride23 you are correct, that is impressive. I am looking forward to seeing you all play Cookeville Friday in the Gordonsville Tourney. They should give you a good game and their pitching will be strong!

I'm looking forward to that game as well. There is something special about this group. In middle school they were mercy ruling teams left and right. I have watched them grow and am excited for this season to unfold.

Just to put it out there. Cookeville will definitely be looking towards the Friday night game vs DeKalb. Being as Cookeville hasn't played a game as of yet and the Cookeville vs Upperman game for tonight has been rained out. We may have a couple of games in by then.

It will be good to see this bunch of young ladies playing each other seeing as most of them have played a lot of travel ball with each other and know each other very well. Of course as a father of 2 of the Cookeville girls I would love to see them get the "W". As far as DeKalb looking good scoring that many runs without allowing but the 1 run is impressive. I expect we will see a lot of great play out of the DeKalb ladies this year. Several quality athletes on their team.

I just read something interesting. So far on the season DC has made 0 errors. That's impressive no matter who you play.

Top of third DC leads 4-0. These girls are looking impressive. Not a real weak spot in the team IMO.

Upperman lost 7-0 to Gordonsville, 1-4 record according to the scoreboard.

DC beat LA in a double header 5-2 and 8-0 to improve to 6-0. Freshman pitcher Caplinger pitched another scoreless game. It's looking like DC is the clear leader this year.
