Looks like FCS is going to switch mid way in the season and go old school like they did in 2011. With a very strong line and freshman qb probably a good move. They have some very mean, athelitic lineman that love to plow the ground in front of them. I'm looking forward to watching how this progresses. How the fullback responds will be the key to their postseason run.

Switching to the Wildcat formation against FRA won the game.  They didn't have an answer.  It was close up to that part of the game.  Didn't realize it until later in the week but Taylor put up 248 yards rushing in that game.

 

Wish they would let the K try a couple of FG's though.  Only thing I've seen is extra points & he seems to have the leg to at least hit a some inside the 40.  He needs some chances before the playoffs just to see what he has in a game situation.

 

Only real test left on the regular season schedule is DCA.  Rest of the games should be an opportunity to perfect the Wildcat formation for Taylor and make sure they have a backup that can run it also.

What back replaced Hollis?

AT becomes primary tailback. Gave him a fullback to help down field on linebackers. In the second half it was the strongest they have look with the running game since 2011. Change in offense may carry them far if the defense keeps playing well.

Arizona is starting to roll against Oregon. 24-14 in third. Great game!

Have missed the last 2 games.  Did I hear correctly that they are back to using the Wildcat like in 2011 with Kyle Wood?  How is that going?
