BARTLETT 12-1 START

Bartlett baseball is off to a great season so far 12-1 on the season under 1st year coach Josh Stewart. Bartlett has 12 juniors and 9 seniors on this season team. Is anyone suprised Bartlett is doing so good to start the season? I'm not because this team has played together with tough schedules the last 4 seasons to get them ready for tough teams this season This schedule is one of the toughest I have seen for a Bartlet Panther squad. This team reminds me of the 2007 Bartlett state championship team this team has tons of pitching depth and good hitters from the top to the bottom of the lineup. Who can compete with Bartlett this seaon from the west ? I have been hearing good things about Dyer co.

Bartlett lost tonight to Rival Arlington 7-6 after being up 6-1 after the third inning . I think Bartlett only had 2 or 3 hits. Congrats to Coach Ring and players on a good win.

We need to get back to Memphis area for some great baseball and some Neely's bar-b-cue.  I think we do head over there this summer.  It was good seeing my Bartlett buddies in Columbia a couple of weeks ago.

Rossview and Arlington came to Dyer County last Saturday...it was great to see some AAA baseball again!!

I was told Arlington didn't play Dyer co though. Bartlett lost to Arlington last friday 5-1, beat Millington Monday 10-0. Now they play Kingsbury this thursday before headed to Alabama this weekend .

Bartlett won tonight over Desoto Central Ms 10-4 , Bartlett record now 26-6.
