Games to See This Year

Agreed. They are to be congratulated. Rare that you see a team have a +4-5 win swing from year to year, much less +8

What's scary is they were 5 points from being 10-0, Sevier County barely beat them. Which makes it so disappointing that WB finished as bad as they did because they only lost to Mo East by 1 point and the govs had to make tons of mistakes to lose that game. Just goes to show much potential the govs had last year.

Blackman is replacing their entire front 7, 4 of which are going to be playing at a FCS or FBS program. They are also replacing their defensive coordinator. Their OL Coach (who is one of the best at his position in the state) is having to move over to the defensive side to call the defense, which hinders the developement of the offensive line (more than one coach made a note of this to me in watching Blackman in the spring). When you add all that up, Blackman will still be very good, but Oakland should be better.

WITH ALL THAT SAID....THEY WILL BE READY... :popcorneater:

THAT'S MY JOB SIR....YOU MUST HAVE VISITED MY WEBSITE 1800PASSIVE/JABS

Stabbing and jabbing is the job of any fan.. And I am definitely gonna gloat about what we got packing. Last year we went with the running attack which was effective but the D didn't give us any help. This year we will be going with the air attack, we got a stable full of studs at WR and two good QBs. Hopefully the defense will give us a little more pop and a little less flop and we will be fine. Dont listen to the WB haters on here, they are just disgruntled heritage fans :popcorneater: they hate knowing that daddywb is about to #risebacktothetop Edited by Governors91

I understand that many of you just love football. Most of us Southerners know that football is America's real sport. I don't get some of you choosing games to go to. I am an Oak Ridge fan, have been for 40+ years. I will go to all OR games , whether we are expected to demolish or get demolished. If we have a bye week, I will go watch the team we are playing the next week Just saying! Dont have to look at any other schedules Just loyal

I would if the Owls could keep up with SIEGEL

What do you mean keep up sir...the Owls put up 47 on them and one of the tds got called back...

the Starz had to catch up with the Owls.....yes we were up at the half and imploded unfortunately but was very much in the game...so that's not nothing to brag about....and the fact that 8 are returning on defense....they should be concerned....

You do realize that Siegel has scored a combined 162 points in just 3 games against Ooltewah, right? In fact, in the CoachT era (2001-present), Ooltewah has been outscored by teams from 7-AAA by a combined score of 260-117 with a 0-7 record in those games. So maybe its Ooltewah that should be concerned with Siegel..............

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
